Staff were informative, and helped me choose a multi pack to see which formula my dog likes best.
Even gave me a bag of samples for my dog and cats!

After adopting little Annie (8 week cavapoo) we really struggled for 4 weeks finding a food that Annie liked and would eat. She didn’t seem to like type of kibble recommended and purchased. After trying everything (mixing with treats and wet food) Annie just wouldn’t have it. Sadly, she was also enjoying cat kibble here and there also which certainly was not helping. We then got to a day where Annie just didn’t eat.
After a few recommendations from friends I quickly went to Manotick’s Everything Raw Doggie Cafe and was so relieved when I was kindly greeted by the fabulous Katy. Katy was so knowledgeable about little Annie’s nutritional needs and requirements. She knew exactly what would help Annie and have her feeling not only nourished but happy with her little meals. She was even exceptionally knowledgeable about Annie’s breed- which I loved so much. Katy had Annie smell some samples and set me up with a great little starter pack to make sure Annie would be okay with the transition. Sure enough - Annie was very happy with her new meals and fortunately had no further interest in cat kibble either.
I have been a resident of manotick and now greely all my life and I am so proud to have businesses such as these in our community. The service Katy and team provides is not just an “in and out” experience. You are often greeted by some furry friends to visit with and provided with such exceptional and helpful information and guidance when needed. Our fur-babies mean so much to us and how amazing is it to have a service provider that is not only local but so caring and helpful also. I’m grateful for Katy and Annie’s tummy is too!

Some employees are even eager to bring boxes right into your car and I heard from my neighbour, though I haven't done so yet, that they deliver for a reasonable price.
I hope this fun cute shop, which also serves coffee and which I should try sometime, considers expanding into different parts of the city, such as Orléans, with a satellite location, franchises or something.

There is a red haired woman who works there (didn’t get her name) who is wonderful!
However there is another woman who has been there each time who made me feel judged for saying I feed my dog kibble with the raw food. The first time I went in, she was incredibly standoffish upon hearing I give my dog kibble and only friendly when trying to convince me to feed fully raw.
It’s a little disappointing. I appreciate the passion for the product, but I feel a different approach of just being friendly and knowledgeable would be better than judging what people feed their dogs.

First of all little back story , I have been feeding my dogs raw. I found this cafe and I thought might be good to check it out. I met with its owner named Lynne. She talks like she is a Veterinarian and she knows everything!! She also gets her “knowledge” from “dogs naturally magazine”. That magazine is not a legit source of information. The second she mentioned that magazine I knew I would believe what she says! She learns things online.
On the other hand Kathy is great - but I wouldn't go to a place where the owner learns from a magazine.
She told me to feed my small dog (15 pounds ) what a large dog would eat. Since I have always feeding raw to my dogs I knew she not to do what she says - but for someone else this could go completely wrong and make their dog sick or over weight! doesn’t care about your pet - she just wants the money!! There are many other places to buy raw food and they don’t even have a large selection of brands or meats. I do not recommend!!
